Event description
The walk starts and finishes at Fenixzaal Jeugdstadion in Ieper. The route is a hilly tour through West Flanders, passing the Rodeberg, Scherpenberg and Kemmelberg, and running along the shores of the Dikkebusvijver. Paths include rural lanes and hill trails typical of the region.

Practical walking information: the event requires pre-registration and counts for the club championship (1 point). At least one unmarked GPS route is provided. One or more routes are suitable for pushchairs and at least one route is suitable for wheelchairs. Children under 12 walk free but must be registered. There is ample parking near the sport centre and Picanol; the train station is about 1.5 km away and local bus lines serve a stop near the swimming pool. Entry fees are low and differ for members (€3) and non-members (€5). The event is organized by a local walking club affiliated with Wandelsport Vlaanderen.
