Practical walking information for Antwerpse Kempentrail
The event offers four marked walking routes through the Voorkempen and neighboring natural areas, including the Kesselse Heide, Viersels Gebroekt, the Binnenbos, De Lovenhoek and the Zoerselbos. Distances are available for different experience levels:
- 55 km
- 35 km
- 25 km
- 15 km
The start and finish are at Evenementenhal Den Boomgaard, Antwerpsesteenweg 43, 2520 Ranst. Participants receive a participation badge and wristband at registration; the badge is needed to collect food and drink at rest points. Route wayfinding includes signposting and kilometre indications. There is no time registration; walking is non-competitive.
Practical services included in the participation package are warm coffee and a croissant before the start, ample supply and rest points on route, sanitary facilities, first aid at the finish, a medal for finishers and an après-walk bar. Participants must register in advance; day-of registrations are not possible. Some information refers to badge collection in Essen on the event day, so participants should follow organiser instructions received after registration. Reflective clothing or a torch is required.
