Bürener Wandertag : walking information
The Bürener Wandertag is held each year in May in a different village of the Büren area. The event uses marked routes through the varied Bürener countryside and attracts around 1,600 participants depending on the weather. Walkers can choose from multiple route lengths and there is a guided family walk on a short route.

- 21 km half-marathon distance on marked trails
- 42 km marathon distance for experienced walkers
The routes are offered in different years from varying start villages; the 30th event is scheduled to take place in Weiberg.
