CM Urban Walk Brussel : practical walking information
The event is a city walk of approximately 10 km through the heart of Brussels. The route leads along streets, parks, small alleys, stairs and also passes through and inside several special buildings, so walkers should be prepared for mixed urban terrain and some indoor sections.
Participants receive a package that includes entry to exclusive locations, tastings along the route, a portion of Arla Skyr at a rest stop, a CM Urban Walk magnet and Sportinez insurance for the walk. Water and refreshments are available at supply points, but the event uses no disposable cups: each walker must bring a reusable cup or drink bottle. A foldable silicone cup can be bought at the helpdesk on the event day for €3.
Starts are organised in waves in the morning; each walker chooses a half-hour start slot to spread participants through narrow streets, stairs and buildings. The exact start and finish location will be announced later. On the event day a downloadable e-ticket is used to collect the participant badge at the registration zone; group badges are picked up by the group leader.
Dogs are not allowed because some venues do not permit animals and city crowds can be stressful for pets. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
