Drielandenpunt Trail overview
The event is a trail weekend around the Three‑Country Point on the highest hills of the Netherlands and crosses three countries. Courses run through forests and hilly terrain with significant elevation gain. The site lists aid stations, parking and on-site facilities but gives no further practical details.
Walkers can choose between multiple single-day trail distances or two-day challenge formats where two stages are combined into one result. The two-day options are the Drielanden 45 and Drielanden 60, each made of a trail on Saturday and a trail on Sunday that together total 45 km or 60 km. Performances from both days are combined into an overall ranking.
Available single-day distances and climb (elevation gain) are:
- 11 km with 345 m D+
- 17 km with 646 m D+
- 27 km with 880 m D+
- 35 km with 1215 m D+
- 42 km with 1382 m D+
- 50 km with 1717 m D+
The organiser accepts individual and group registrations and registration is open. The description highlights that courses are 100% trail and that the area contains steep, uneven paths; walkers should plan for pronounced climbs and descents. Running entries are offered but the route and elevation figures apply equally to walkers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
