Practical info for walkers
The event includes a dedicated Family Walk that departs from 't Zand and finishes at the Grote Markt in Bruges. The walk is supported with a marked course and online route description that shows the drink and supply points. Walkers receive a personalised bib (if registered by the indicated deadline), a unique finish medal and a culinary treat at Hotel- en Toerismeschool Spermalie. A drinks station is available at the finish.
Practical services for walkers include free temporary storage for sport bags with a numbered sticker system, correct kilometre markings on the route and insurance coverage during the event. Changing rooms and showers are provided at Sint-Leo Hemelsdaele, located within walking distance of the start and finish. The exact pick-up locations for bibs, bag drop area and changing facilities will be announced later.
Name and distance changes are possible before the published deadline, and limited switches may be possible on-site later for a fee or price difference. The organiser advises participants to choose a distance and pace that match their preparation and to follow local traffic rules if they continue on the course outside official controls.
