Les Gendarmes et les Voleurs de Temps : walking information
The event is held in Ambazac in the Monts du Limousin, on trails through wooded and green surroundings. Routes use local paths and mountain trails around the Petit Muret area; a site plan and parking zones are provided for walkers.
Distances available for trail walkers include:
- 5 km as a duo in 2027
- 10 km
- 20 km
- 32 km
A combined format appears for 2027 as a 20km + 10km challenge. The 32 km route is accompanied by gendarmes who follow the last runner, providing visible support along the course. There are dedicated children’s runs on Saturday and parent–child relays on Sunday, allowing families to participate over short distances. Canicross, canitrail and canirando events run separately, including an 11 km canine course which attracts large fields.
