Mammutmarsch Berlin walking details
The event offers long-distance walking on routes through Berlin with natural and urban sections. Participants can choose from:
- 30 KM
- 42 KM
- 55 KM
The course starts and finishes at Zentraler Festplatz Berlin, Kurt-Schumacher-Damm 207, 13405 Berlin. The route includes city highlights and stretches with water and natural surroundings. It is presented as "Extremwandern," so walkers should expect challenging long-distance walking rather than a flat tourist stroll. Support along the route includes hydration points and organised event staff. At the finish walkers receive a certificate, a medal, a woven finisher band and a finisher drink.
Practical arrival information focuses on public transport. A special stop has been arranged near the start, and connections include nearby U-Bahn and tram/bus lines. Parking at the start area is not available on the day; park-and-ride or parking near the S-Bahn ring is suggested. A Kiss & Hike drop-off zone is provided beside check-in with marshals directing traffic. Final travel and parking details are sent to participants by email before the event.
