Marathon de la Liberté : practical walking information
The event offers several distances that walkers can enter and follow on marked routes across Normandy. The courses pass through historic towns and themed fan-zones, with musical groups along the way.

The Village Expo is at the Parc des Expositions de Caen and is the bib pickup point for individual participants. Parking for cars and bicycles is free on the event days. Bib pickup for most races requires the runner to present an identity document and a medical licence or PPS health pass; minors have specific rules. Each participant receives a compulsory wrist bracelet that must be worn and visible during the event. No safety pins are provided on site.
The finish area is in central Caen for the Sunday races and La Rochambelle. Organisers publish course maps and a live tracking service (Breizh Chrono) for step-by-step tracking. Supporters can follow via dedicated spectator routes, but accompaniment by bicycle or other moving transport is forbidden for safety and fairness.
