The event centres on Pauillac with bib collection and the event village at the COSEC de Pauillac the day before the main event. Official bus transfers between Bordeaux and Pauillac are available by reservation for participants and companions. On the marathon course there are 22 refreshment points and numerous tasting and animation stops, offering food and drink options and short rest opportunities.
A dedicated recovery walk takes place on the Sunday after the main event in the commune of Saint Julien Beychevelle. It is open to runners, companions, volunteers and partners, requires registration, has a participation fee of €8 and is limited to 3000 people. A meal at Château Beychevelle is offered after the walk on reservation and requires the event access bracelet received during bib collection.
