The Marathon Rotterdam Walk : practical info for walkers

The Marathon Rotterdam Walk offers organised walks on the marathon weekend with routes through central Rotterdam. Walks start and finish at Coolsingel – Churchillplein and take place on the Saturday programme.

Logistics for walkers

• Wandelkaarten (walk maps) and event information are available at the Marathon Sport Expo in the Postillion Convention Centre WTC Rotterdam prior to the walks.
• On the Saturday of the event there is no official baggage drop or changing facilities available for participants.
• The Marathon Walk participants receive a commemorative pin after finishing; medal engraving does not apply.

Timing and limits

• Time limits apply per distance: 15 km up to 5 hours, 10 km up to 3.5 hours, 5 km up to 2 hours.
• Walkers should follow event signage and marshals along the closed course.
