Marbella 4Days Walking : event details for walkers
Marbella 4Days Walking offers daily routes that start in Marbella and run through the city, nature and along the beach. Walkers can choose to participate for 1 to 4 days and select among distances of:
- 10 km
- 20 km
- 30 km
Routes vary in terrain and difficulty. Surfaces include beach sand, tarmac, gravel and countryside tracks. Some days include challenging climbs; daily grades range from moderate to difficult. Maximum altitudes reported per day reach up to 252 m on the hardest route. Daily route lengths are listed roughly between 10 km and about 29–30 km.
The Plaza del Mar becomes the Walking Village, the event base where walkers find medical care, general support, food and drinks, souvenirs and live music. IVV members can get an official IVV stamp in the organisation tent for each completed day. Start times vary by distance and are scheduled between 08:00 and 11:30. All walkers must return before 16:00 for the day to count. Credentials can be picked up on the registration day or each walking day at the registration tent.
