Megamarsch Berlin bei Nacht : walking details
The event is a night walk of 50 km through Berlin, starting and finishing at Sport Centrum Siemensstadt, Buolstraße 14, 13629 Berlin. The route runs from Brandenburger Tor to Wannsee and returns to the start area. Walkers follow streets, parks and paths along water, passing illuminated landmarks and quieter, more sheltered sections.
The course has about 190 meters of total ascent and is described as a mix of city pavement and park trails. Participants have up to 12 hours to complete the 50 km distance. Start times begin from 18:00 with the exact start printed on each ticket. Station opening hours and the finish schedule are based on an average walking speed between 4.2 km/h and 6 km/h, so timing along the route depends on each walker’s pace.
There are four staffed refreshment stations roughly every 10 km along the course. A certificate is available from the second refreshment station. Walkers receive a walk pass and stamps at start and finish as proof of completion. A medal and Hall of Fame entry are awarded for finishing the 50 km distance. Route details are shared as a downloadable file before the event and may be adjusted for local conditions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
