Silvesterlauf Werl–Soest : walking details

This event offers walking options on two road distances with separate walking categories and marked start areas. The route runs between Werl and Soest and finishes on the market square in Soest.

• 15 km : starts at Stadthalle Werl, suitable for longer recreational walking.
• 5 km : starts at Schützenhalle Ampen, suitable for shorter walks and recreational participants.

Practical notes for walkers:

• Walking has its own start groups separate from the competitive runs.
• Start areas are close to rail connections; Werl station is within easy walking distance of the 15 km start, and Soest station is walkable from the finish.
• There is an organised baggage transfer from the start area to the finish; bags must be handed in before transport.

• The event runs in all weather and uses the main road corridor between Werl and Soest with road management for the event.
