Metropolmarathon Fürth : walking information
The event includes a Nordic walking competition alongside multiple other races across a weekend in Fürth and Nürnberg. The routes link the two cities and use varied urban and park terrain. Walkers can expect numerous refreshment stations and a programme of support along the entire course. The organisation involves many volunteers, so aid points and signage are staffed during the event. There is also a KidsMarathon for children as part of the weekend’s competitions.
The event base and postal address for Fürth are given as Wasserstraße 4, Fürth. Entry offers and general event logistics are published for the marathon weekend. Information emphasises a mix of routes and a lively framework programme along the course, which may mean crowds and event infrastructure on route sections. Practical considerations for walkers include prepared support at refreshment stations and staffed aid points, and that the event takes place across two cities with transfers between start and finish areas possible depending on the chosen race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
