Grande Marche de la Godasse : practical walking details
La Royale Godasse Oupeye organises multi-distance walking events from the Hall Omnisport in Oupeye and a separate prologue from the Refuge d’Aaz in Hermée. Routes run in the province of Liège and include a mix of marked loops and, for the prologue (except the 60 km), linear sections that explore less-travelled paths and countryside between Oupeye and Maastricht.
Walking distances available at the Grande Marche (early August) include:

- 12 km
- 7 km
- 3 km
The prologue (early September) offers:
- 60 km
- 20 km
- 13 km
- 6 km
- 3 km
Controls and refreshment points are set on the longer routes, with named control locations for 12 km and above and additional controls for 30 km and 42 km routes. Organisers run route waymarking teams and open/close controls across the event, and they provide supervision, parking management and on-site food service in the event hall. For the prologue, many routes start by bus from Hermée to route departure points; walkers are asked to have a bus ticket or pass. The club’s local meeting point is Rue Sondeville in Oupeye and the Hall Omnisport serves as the main start/arrival hall. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
