Limburg Wine Trailrun : walking information
The event includes a walking option called the Alpina LIMBURG WINE WALK starting and finishing at Kasteelhoeve Cartils in Gulpen-Wittem. Walkers follow well-marked, unpaved routes through the hilly Eyserbeek valley, passing vineyards, forests, meadows and varied landscape on the 33-hectare estate.

Elevation gains are given for the routes: about 220 m for 10 km, 300 m for 15 km, and 370 m for 20 km. The paths run along and sometimes through vineyards and include forest and field trails. No navigation device is needed because the parcours are clearly signposted.
At the finish on the estate walkers can enjoy wine tasting and snacks; food and music are available in the start/finish zone. There is ample parking about 200 m from the venue. The event notes support for a charity partner but gives no further practical start-time details. Practical course maps and additional information are announced later.
