Monschau Marathon walking routes
The event offers dedicated walk options on varied terrain through the Eifel and Monschau area. The walking courses run on asphalt, forest paths and through small villages including the historic old town of Monschau. The official start and finish are at Konrad-Adenauer-Straße 2 in Monschau-Konzen. Facilities near the event include free parking close to the start, free showers at the venue and a sport park, and changing rooms. Bicycle accompaniment and dogs are not permitted. Timekeeping uses a transponder chip in the start number. Registration is possible online and there is on-site registration shortly before the event. Medical support, massage and physiotherapy services are provided on site. The walks have noticeable elevation and are described with height meters, so walkers should expect climbs.
